Corn Gluten

Corn gluten is a protein powder primarily used as a nitrogen-rich fertilizer for the lawn and as a natural germination inhibitor to prevent the emergence of weeds (crabgrass, dandelion, and other seeds in the soil).

Its slow release nitrogen gradually feeds the lawn over 2 to 3 months period, making it thick and green.

Helpful tips:

  • Apply at the beginning of spring (mid-April to mid-May) and at the end of summer or in the fall (late August to late September)
  • For optimal effectiveness, apply the product on dry grass, water it immediately.
  • Do not eliminate the existing weeds.
  • Wait 30 days after application to sow.
